Your journey to healing starts here.
There’s a reason you found this website.
You may be here because your relationship feels uncomfortable—and you’re looking for answers and healing.
Or you may be a therapist, searching for resources to support clients impacted by intimate partner abuse or coercive control.
Either way, you’re in the right place.
Whatever brings you here, this space is designed to offer clarity, understanding, and a path forward.
If you feel confused or embarrassed by your situation, please know that you're not to blame. You are not responsible for their choices.
Also, this could happen to anyone - regardless of gender, race, or who you love. You did not choose to be treated this way, and more importantly:
You didn't know what you didn’t know.
This is a place to begin learning what you didn’t know. Above all, it is a place to begin—or strengthen—a healing journey.
Therapists, you will find resources to meet your needs and those of your clients.

For Survivors
If you’ve endured what I’ll call an abuse of power in a relationship, you’ve come to the right place.
You may be here because you are living in a relationship that leaves you feeling disrespected, criticized, silenced, or hurt. You may feel as though what you want doesn’t matter, or that your opinions and needs aren’t valid or respected.
You can explore—at your own pace—my blog, podcast recordings, free handouts, and book. All are designed to help you understand what you’ve experienced, rebuild self-trust, and move forward at your own pace.

For Therapists
My work bridges lived experience and clinical practice. I help therapists develop the insight, language, and tools needed to work effectively with intimate partner abuse.
Therapists often notice how difficult it can be to name coercive dynamics—especially when abuse does not fit familiar stereotypes, or when clients blame themselves for patterns shaped by manipulation and control.
You can explore my blog, podcast recordings, book, and Journey to Healing therapeutic interventions that help you support clients impacted by intimate partner abuse with clarity and confidence.
You can also explore my resources for survivors to gauge whether they are helpful to your clients.
